6-month Anniversary of a Terrible Cyclist Tragedy

Last week marked 6 months since the terrible tragedy of December 10, 2020, that took the lives of 5 cyclists. We honor the lives that were lost that day by working hard to provide a safer future for cyclists on Nevada’s roadways.

The Southern Nevada Bicycle Coalition (SNVBC), Clark County Commissioner Justin Jones, and family members of victims hosted an event near the memorial for all cyclists to discuss the impact this tragic event had on the community, along with efforts to improve road safety.

Channel 8’s coverage of the entire event can be viewed here:

Our hearts go out to those affected by this terrible tragedy. It is our hope that there are brighter and safer days ahead.
